Stop the Wars March in Boston

On October 11th there was an anti-war rally in Boston sponsored by the Iraq Veterans Against War group among many other pro peace and non-profit groups. Proletariat Power was there snapping photos and recording video of the event. Many times older people I interact with express their disappointment at the youth of this generation and their apparent lack of protest. Many times, I’ve told them the protest events and songs are there, but the mainstream media does not cover them. Today we bring you some photographic proof of the protest presence in Boston.

The march started at the Boston Common.

The rally coincided with Honkfest, with many musicians taking part in the march.

All in all it was a large group (estimates put the marchers over a 1,000) with many people stopping to watch, learn and experience. Click through to our photo gallery to see all the photos from the event. Check back next week for a video or two.
